An Overview of The Conference Souvenir

The souvenir include: A stylish HERA bag, an eco-friendly mug, and either a badge or a tie clip (distributed randomly). And also a 64GB flash drive as the name tag.

The Mug

In the logo design, the conference name is presented in a simplified text style, which is modern and easy to read, serving as the main element. The graduation cap symbolizes higher education, representing the core theme and academic atmosphere of the conference.

On the back of the name tag, there is a detachable 64GB USB flash drive that contains an electronic copy of the agenda, which attendees are welcome to use. The back also includes a simplified agenda and a QR code.

The souvenirs incorporate the Formosan blue magpie (Urocissa caerulea), a beautiful bird whose outspread wings symbolize the conference reaching new milestones, ongoing growth and development in the future, as well as freedom, innovation, and limitless possibilities.

Taipei 101

Located in the finest district Taipei has to offer, TAIPEI 101 is the largest engineering project ever in the history of the Taiwan construction business. Supported by a dozen or so domestic businesses, the TFC Corp. was fortunate to have local and international experts in charge of the planning, and world-class architect C.Y. Lee was responsible for the design of the project. The design transcends the unit-body concept and is based on the Chinese number 8, a numeral long considered lucky in Chinese culture. Eight-floor structural units are connected one by one on top of each other to form the whole. This kind of rhythmic aesthetic is new to skyscrapers.

National Palace Museum, Taipei

The National Palace Museum houses the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, one which spans China's nearly 5,000-year history. Most of the museum's over 600,000 art objects were part of the Chinese imperial collection, which began over 1,000 years ago in the early Song dynasty.

THE GRAND HOTEL, Taipei

Taipei Grand Hotel, a 14-story palace-like building, faces Keelung River, nestled against Yangming Mountain, overlooking Songshan in the east and Danshui in the west. Since 1952, the Grand Hotel has been standing midway up Yuanshan, a towering building with red columns, gilded tiles and a magnificent, grandiose, regal, classic presence, a must-visit great gem of Chinese culture.
